Applications are invited from knowledgeable and skilled professionals for various Teaching Posts for the following positions:

• Professor
• Associate Professor
• Assistant Professor

• Appointment of the candidates is to be done for the following subjects:

• Bio-Technology
• Business Administration
• Chemistry

• Computer Science

• Library & Information Science

• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of academics, work experience and personal interview. Candidates short-listed in the initial screening will be called for the interview. The interview schedule will be announced later. Eligibility Conditions 

For Professor

• Ph.D degree in the concerned / relevant discipline from a recognized University
  
  
• Should have published high quality of work with a minimum of 10 publications as books / research / policy papers
  
  
• Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in University / College or experience in Research at the University / National level institutions / industries
  
  
• Should have contributed in various Educational Innovation, Design of New Curricula & Courses, and Technology - Mediated Teaching Learning Process
  
  
• Must have the minimum score as specified in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) set out in the UGC Regulations of 2010 in Appendix III

For Associate Professor

• Ph.D degree in the concerned / relevant discipline with good academic record from a recognized University
  
  
• Master’s Degree in the relevant disciplines with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Minimum 8 years of teaching experience on a position of Assistant Professor in University / College
  
  
• Should have published high quality of work with a minimum of 5 publications as books / research / policy papers
  
  
• Should have contributed in various Educational Innovation, Design of New Curricula & Courses, and Technology - Mediated Teaching Learning Process
  
  
• Must have the minimum score as specified in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in the UGC Regulations of 2010 in Appendix III

For Assistant Professor

• Master’s Degree in the relevant disciplines with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Candidates should have qualified NET / SLET / SET conducted by the UGC/CSIR.
  
  
• Candidates having PhD degree are exempted from the condition of qualifying the NET / SLET / SET Examinations.

For Director of Physical Education

• Ph.D Degree in Physical Education from a recognized University
  
  
• Minimum 10 years of work experience as University Deputy or minimum 15 years of work experience as University Assistant DPEs / College (selection grade)
  
  
• Should have participated in minimum two National / International Seminars or Conferences
  
  
• Should have consistently good Appraisal Reports
  
  
• Should have evidence of organizing competitions and conducting coaching camps of at-least 2 weeks duration
  
  
• Should have evidence of shaping good performance Teams / Athletes for competitions like State / National / Inter-University / Combined University, etc. 

Application Fee

• Rs.300 (Application Fees): Mandatory for All
• Rs.1000 (Processing Fees): Professor / Associate Professor / Director of Physical Education
• Rs.500 (Processing Fees): Assistant Professor
• 50% of Processing Fees: SC / ST / PWD candidates
