The University of Calcutta, Kolkata has invited applications for admission its PhD) programme in Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation Engineering offered at the Department of Applied Physics for the academic session 2017.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational qualifications:

Aspiring candidates need to possess a Master's degree in Engineering/Technology or its equivalent from a recognised university/institute with at least 55 per cent in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7 point scale.

Application fee:

Candidates need to pay Rs 100 for each application form.

Selection Procedure:

The admission procedure consists of an admission test followed by the interview for candidates successful in the same.

The candidates qualified in the written test will have to appear for an interview with a PPT presentation on proposed area of research for final selection.
