University of Calcutta Invites Applications for Admission into 5-Year Integrated Library and Information Science Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into 5-Year Integrated course in Library & Information Science for 2012.

Eligibility Conditions

Any person appearing H.S (10 + 2) examination in the year 2012 and passed H.S (10 + 2) in the year 2011in Indian Academic System or equivalent degree from recognized Council / Institution may apply for the said course this year.

How to Apply

Candidates are required to download the application form from Universityof Calcutta’s website: www.caluniv.ac.in or www.caluniv.ac.in/admission%20notice/form-integrated-course-libsc.pdf
Duly filled in application in the prescribed form available in the University website accompanied by the counterpart of receipt on payment of Rs.250 at University Cash Counter, will be received by the Department of Library & Information Science, University of Calcutta till 29^th May, 2012 (Tuesday).
Application forms will not be sent by post. No personal communication with the candidate regarding admission will be made on behalf of the university.

Selection Procedure

Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of academic qualifications and admission test with reservations as per norms of the University.

Important Dates

Last date for receipt of filled up application forms: 29^th May, 2012 Tuesday)
The admission test will be held on: 9^th Jun, 2012 (Saturday)
Tentative date for publication of result: 21^st Jun, 2012 (Thursday)
