Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into its PhD in History programme, for the session 2014.

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates should hold a Master degree in the relevant discipline with 55% of marks from any of the UGC recognized universities.

• The candidates qualified in UGC (JRF) Examination, NET, SET examinations, and those who have M.Phil. degrees from recognized Universities, need not appear at the written examination for admissions.

How to apply

• The candidates can download the application form from the official website of Calcutta University or can obtain them from the University cash counter.

Application Fees

• The candidate has to pay an application fee of Rs.100.
