Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) in French, for 2014.

Selection Procedure

• Admission to the Ph.D programmes is done through the Written Test. The eligible candidates will have to appear in a written examination of two hours duration that will be held in Department of French. The written test will be based on the syllabus prescribed for the Masters Programme of the Department of French, University of Calcutta.

Eligibility Candidates

• Candidates must have passed Master degree in relevant discipline from any of the recognised universities.

How to apply

• Candidates should apply in the prescribed proforma by paying Rs.100 through a challan in cash only obtainable from College Street Campus (cash counter).

Important Dates

• Last date for submission of application form is 17^th Apr, 2014.
• Display of the list of eligible candidates on 3^rd Jun, 2014.
• Written test would be held on 28^th May, 2014.
