Applications are invited by University of Calcutta, Kolkata for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Book Publishing Studies (PGDBPS) program offered at the Centre for Studies in Book Publishing in collaboration with National Book Trust, India and Publishers and Booksellers Guild, Kolkata for the commencing session 2012-13.
Eligibility
The candidate should have completed graduation in any stream (Hons/ Pass/ General/ Vocational, etc) from a recognized University.
A candidate appeared at the final examination for graduation is also eligible to apply.
How to Apply
Application Forms are available at the C U SALES COUNTER, Asutosh Building (Ground Floor), College Street, Campus (Asutosh Sihsha Prangan), Kolkata-700073 on payment of Rs.200 in cash.
The application form can also be downloaded from their official website - www.caluniv.ac.in.
If the Application Form is downloaded, the candidate is requested to enclose with it a crossed bank draft/ banker’s cheque of Rs. 200 (Rs. Two Hundred) drawn in favor of ‘PGDBP, CU’ payable at Kolkata.
Application Forms, duly filled-in, shall have to be submitted to the office of the ‘Centre for Studies in Book, Publishing (CSBP), Asutosh Building (First Floor), College Street Campus ( Asutosh Siksha Prangan), Kolkata West Bengal’ in person or by post.
Selection Procedure
The selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in the entrance test and interview conducted by the university.

Date of written test and interview 8th Sep, 2012.
