Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy program in Polymer Science and Technology for the commencing session 2012 – 2013. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates having degree in Bachelor of Technology or Engineering (any stream) or Master of Science (any stream without NET/GATE/M.Phil) are eligible to apply.

• Filled in application formalong with Rs.100 paid through a challan(obtainable from sales counter of college street campus of the University) may be sent to the Head of the Department, Department of Polymer Science and Technology, UCSTA, University of Calcutta, 92, A.P.C Road, Kolkata -700009 and it should reach the Department by 29^th April, 2012. 

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their PhD eligibility test (PET-IV) score, to be held on 2^nd May, Wednesday 2012 at 12 Noon in the Department of Polymer Science and Technology. 

Important Dates

• Last date for submission of application form: Sunday, April 29^th Apr, 2012 (Sunday)
   
• Date for Entrance Exam: 2^nd May, 2012 (Wednesday)
