Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF). The recruitment is to be done for a period of three years.

Important

The recruitment is to be done for the project titled “Synthesis of Biologically Active and Spectroscopically Important Heterocycles and Dendrimeric Compounds from Ninhydrin”, which is funded by CSIR. The project will be supervised by Dr. Animesh Pramanik, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, University of Calcutta.

• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of walk-in-interview.
• The interview is scheduled to be held on  8^th Feb, 2012, from 11.00 am onwards. The interview will be held at the office of Secretary, University Colleges of Science and Technology, 92, A.P.C. Road, Kolkata - 700009.

Eligibility Conditions

• M Sc Degree in Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
• Should have qualified NET / GATE
• Minimum 2 years of research experience in Synthetic Organic Chemistry
• Candidates should be below the age of 32 years.

How to Apply

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, can appear for the Walk-in-Interview.
• The interview is scheduled to be held on February 8, 2012, from 11.00 am onwards, at the office of Secretary, University Colleges of Science and Technology, 92, A.P.C. Road, Kolkata - 700009.
• Candidates should bring Original copies of Testimonials, two hard copies of detailed Bio-data, and Original & Xeroxed copies of all relevant certificates along with them.
