Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Library and Information Science program for 2012-13.

How to Apply

• The candidates can download the application form from their official website - www.caluniv.ac.in.
   
• The application fee of Rs.100 should be paid through the challan available at the university cash counter.
• The duly filled in application form should be submitted to The office of the Department of Library & Information Science, Asutosh Building (Top floor) 87/1 College Street, Kolkata -700073 by  6^th Jun, 2012 at the latest. 

Selection Procedure

• The selection of the candidates will be based on the entrance test followed by an interview which will be conducted by the university. 

Important Dates

• Last date for submitting duly filled in application form:  6^th Jun, 2012 (Wednesday)
• Date of entrance examination:  7^th Jun, 2012 (Thursday)
• Declaration of result of written test:  8^th Jun, 2012 (Friday)
