University of Calcutta, Kolkata Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D in Geography Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program in Geography for 2013.

Eligibility Conditions

Candidates holding master’s degree in Geography from a UGC-recognized university are eligible to apply.

How to Apply

Candidates can download the application form the official site of University of Calcutta http://www.caluniv.ac.in/
Candidates are required to filled-in form, accompanied by a one-page research proposal and copies of MA/MSc mark-sheet and NET/SET/SLET/MPhil certificate (if applicable), will have to be submitted at the department office after paying the prescribed fee at the University cash counter. Before that, the payment challan has to be endorsed by the HoD.

Selection Procedure

The selection of candidates are done based on the written test (RET-WP) conducted by University of Calcutta.
The eligible candidates who cleared NET/SET/SLET/MPhil are exempted from appearing in RET-WP and should directly appear for RET-Oral Part (RET-OP) interview.
