University of Delhi (DU), New Delhi Invites Applications for Admission into M.Phil in History Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in History program for 2012-13.

Eligibility Conditions

The candidate should have good academic record with first or high second class master’s degree (at least 55% marks) or an equivalent degree of a foreign university in subject concerned, or an allied subject approved by the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of the Head of the Department.
Provisional admission to the examination will be provided to students who’s M.A final Results have not been declared. This admission will be finalized only after they have shown original mark sheets confirming their eligibility.

Selection Procedure

Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of written exam conducted by the university. Only those candidates who obtain a minimum of 50% marks in written will be called for interview.
