University of Mumbai, Mumbai Invites Applications for Scientists, Scientific Asst, Admin Officer & Office Secretary Recruitment 2012

Application are invited from eligible candidates for various posts for the following positions:

Note

Selection of the candidates is to be done on ad-hoc basis and not permanent, wherein candidates will serve a period of three months and in case of extension, it will be extended to a maximum period of six months.

Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their performance in the examination / test and personal interview. The date of the examination / test will be announced later by the selecting committee. Eligibility Conditions

For Scientist (G)

PhD Degree in Science / Engineering or MBBS / MS Degree from a recognized University / Institute
Minimum two years of experience in stem cell research
Candidates should not be more than 45 years of age.

For Scientist (F)

PhD Degree in Science or Engineering from a recognized University / Institute
At least three years of experience in Silicon based Device Fabrication and experience in Clean Room Protocol
Candidates should be below the age of 40 years.

For Scientist (D)

PhD Degree in Science or Engineering from a recognized University / Institute
Three years of experience required in Organic LED fabrication, Synthesis of Organic Small Molecules, Lithography and Patterning
Experience in Clean Room will be an added advantage.
Candidates should be below the age of 40 years.

For Scientist (C)

PhD Degree in Science or Engineering from a recognized University / Institute
At least three years of experience in Magnetic and Electrical Resistivity Measurement of Magnetic and Metallic Systems
Candidates should be below the age of 35 years.

For Scientific Assistant (C)

M Sc or M Phil Degree in Sciences from a recognized University / Institute
Two years of teaching experience is required to assist in the academic programme.
Candidates should be below the age of 35 years.

For Administrative Officer

BA / B Com / B Sc Degree from a recognized University / Institute
Three years of experience in Office Management, Academic Environment, Computer Skills , Spread Sheet etc.
Candidates should be below the age of 35 years.

For Office Secretary

BA / B Com / B Sc Degree from a recognized University / Institute
Should have English / Marathi Shorthand GCC at the rate of 120/80 WPM and Typewriting GCC at the rate of 40/30 WPM and possess MS-CIT Certificate
Experience in Office Work with Computer Skills
Candidates should be below the age of 25 years.
