The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2018 registration process concludes today, October 23 at 6 pm.

The commission will conduct the preliminary examination on January 7, 2018.

Application fee:

Candidates (excepting female/SC/ST/ PH who are exempted from payment of fee) need to pay Rs 200.

Age limit:

A candidate must be not less than 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on August 1, 2018.

Total vacancy:

The recruitment examination is held to fill approximately 588 engineering positions in various departments of the central government.

Selection process:

Those candidates who qualify the preliminary round will have to appear for the main exam, dates of which will be released later. Those who clear the main exam will then be called for the interview round.
