Age Limit

The age of the candidate should not less than 18 year and should not be more than 40 years. The age of the candidate should be as on 1^st Jan, 2016.

Qualification

Candidates should have passed three year Diploma examination in electrical engineering awarded by Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh or a diploma or equivalent thereto recognized by the state government or three year all India diploma examination in electrical engineering conducted by the all India council for technical education (AICTE) government of India or Diploma examination in electrical engineering conducted by any of the universities in India in – Corporate by Act of the Central / State Legislature.

Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates will be based on the basis of written examination and personal interview depending on the number of applications received.

Age Relaxation

The upper age of the candidates applying for the position of junior engineer (Trainee) is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below:-

By 5 years for candidates belonging to ST communities.
By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC communities.
By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.

Application fee

Candidates applying for the position of junior engineer (Trainee) are required to pay application fee Rs.700/- for Schedule caste categories candidates / Schedule tribe categories candidates and Rs.1000/- for other categories candidates through net banking or by using visa card / master card / debit card or by State bank of India Challan. Handicapped categories candidates are required to pay Rs.10/- as processing fee.
