All the eligible candidates are invited for the following positions:

• Assistant Engineers (Trainee) (Electrical & Mechanical)
• Assistant Engineers (Trainee) (Civil)
• Junior Engineers (Trainee) (Electrical & Mechanical)
• Junior Engineers (Trainee) (Civil)

Note

• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of written test and personal interview.
• The written test will be held at Dehradun, Roorkee, Srinagar, Almora and Haldwani.
• The written test schedule and examination center address will be mentioned in the candidate’s call letter.

Eligibility Conditions

For Assistant Engineers (Trainee) (Electrical & Mechanical / Civil)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Power Engineering / Power System Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering with minimum 65% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
• Good command of Hindi Language (Devnagri Script)

For Junior Engineers (Trainee) (Electrical & Mechanical / Civil)

• Three year Diploma in Power Engineering / Power System Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
• Good command of Hindi Language (Devnagri Script)
  

Required Age

    Candidates should be above the age of 18 years and below the age of 35 years (Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PH candidates as per government norms).

Application Fee

• Rs 400: General / Others
• Rs 200: SC / ST candidates

• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs 400 / Rs 200, drawn in favor of EE (HQ), UPCL, payable at Dehradun.
• Candidates should mention their name and post code on the reverse side of the DD.
• Application form duly complete in all respect, along with the DD and photocopies of all the certificates, should be submitted to The Advertizer, Post Box No. 4420, Kalkaji Post Office, Kalkaji, New Delhi - 110019, by ordinary post.
• Candidates should mention “Application for the post of Assistant Engineer (E&M or Civil) / Junior Engineer (E&M or Civil) Trainee in UPCL” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
