Applications are invited from dynamic and well-educated candidates of India, for Forest Rangers Examination 2012, for recruitment.

Note

Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Preliminary Examination, followed by Main Examination and Personal Interview.
Candidates qualified in preliminary examination will be called of the main examination.
The preliminary examination will be conducted at Almora, Pithoragarh, Nainital, Haldwani, Rudrapur, Bageshwar, Champawat, Pauri, Sri Nagar, Kotdwara, Gopeshwar, New Tehri, Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi, Dehradun, Haridwar, and Roorkee centers. Examination scheduled and centre address will be mentioned in the candidates’ admit card.

Eligibility Conditions

Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture / Botany / Chemistry / Computer Applications / Computer Science / Agriculture Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Environmental Science / Forestry / Geology / Horticulture / Mathematics / Physics / Statistics / Veterinary Science / Zoology from a recognized University / Institute
Candidates should be above the age of 21 years and below the age of 35 years (Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PH candidates as per government norms).

How to Apply

Willing candidates can obtain the OMR Application form from the post offices located at various cities, in the reverse payment of Rs 220 (General / Others) or Rs 130 (SC / ST / PH).
Candidates can obtain the OMR Application form from cities main post offices, as mentioned in the advertisement.
OMR Application form duly complete in all respect along with self-attested affixed passport-size photograph should be submitted to the Secretary, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, Gurukul Kangri, Haridwar (Uttarakhand) - 249404, by registered post / speed post / by hand on or before 3^rd April, 2012 till 06.00 pm.
