VELS University, Chennai Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Programs 2016

Applications are invited from eligible candidaets for admission into full time and part time program in following for the session 2016:

Eligibility Conditions

For Full Time Ph.D Program

Masters degree with not less than a second class or as equivalent grade and in the case of examination where classification does not exist, a minimum of 50% of marks in the qualifying examination in the subjects in the faculties of Arts, Science, Fine Arts, Indian and other languages, Management, Commerce, Engineering, Para Medical Sciences etc., and CA, CFA, ACS or ICWA degree are eligible.

For Part Time Ph.D Program

Any citizen of India irrespective of his/her employment status, and working within Tamilnadu who wishes to pursue doctoral research is eligible.

Application form will also be issued by the University office on payment of Rs.1100/- or through post by paying an additional amount of Rs.100/- ie., a total of Rs.1200/- in the form of DD drawn in favour of The Registrar, Vels University payable at Chennai.
The duly filled in application along with all enclosures should be submitted to the university office either in person or through post.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be based on the basis of performance in the common entrance examination and Viva-Voce conducted by the concerned department.

The last date for receipt of filled in application: 15^th Jan, 2016.
