- Interested candidates can apply online by logging into the bank’s official website: http://vijayabank.com/. The online registration process will be open from November 22, 2011 to December 14, 2011 (for all applicants, including those from far flung areas).
- Only those candidates short-listed as per their applications will be called for the interview. Final selection will be made on the basis of their performance in the interview, to be conducted by the bank. Application Fee
- Rs 300/- (including postal charges) for all candidates including OBC & Ex-Servicemen (SC / ST/ PWD candidates are exempted from application fees)
- Rs 50/- towards postal charges for all categories
Note
Candidates may apply for more than one post. They must, however, register on-line for each post separately and send the print-out of the registered application, accompanied by separate fee and separate attested copies of required certificates etc.
How To Apply
- Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, are required to apply online by logging onto the bank’s official website: http://vijayabank.com/vijaya/vijaya/interneten/menus/announcements/RecruNoticeMainPage.html.
- One can also fill the online application form by visiting the direct link: http://registration.sifyitest.com/vijayasonov11/. One must note that no other mode of application will be accepted.
- Before filling the online application, one must take a printout of the “Fee Payment Challan” and fill in the required details.
- Using the filled-in Challan, one can submit the fee (whichever applicable - Application Fee / Postage Charges) in cash at any nearest Vijaya Bank Branch (list of branches given on the bank’s official website) in Account No. 900900022503005 towards “VIJAYA BANK REC_PROJ 2011-12 Scale-II-IV”.
- On receipt of the acknowledgement of the fee payment in the bank, one can proceed to the procedure of online application.
- Candidates should carefully fill in the details from the Fee Payment Challan and other requisite details (qualification, experience, expertise etc.) in the Online Application Form at appropriate places.
- After submitting the online application successfully, candidates will be allotted a Registration No. and Password. One must retain the same for further reference.
- In addition, after applying online, candidates should obtain a Computer Generated Online Registered Application Print-out. The Computer Generated Online Registered Application Print-out complete in all respect, along with the required certificates / documents / fee payment challan, should be sent by ordinary post to Vijaya Bank Recruitment Project – 2011-12, (Specialist / Generalist Officers in MMG - S-II to SMG - S - IV), Post Box No. 7693, Kandivali (West), Mumbai 400 067, on or before December 21, 2011.
- The computer generated online registered application printout should be sent in a closed envelope with the heading “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ______________ (Post code No. _________) in Vijaya Bank”.
- For candidates staying abroad and those sending the printout of the computer generated online registered application from far flung areas i.e. Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadeep, Minicoy Islands, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of J&K State, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chama District of Himachal Pradesh, the last date for receipt of Print-out will be December 28, 2011.
