Applications are invited from skilled and proficient candidates for the post of Chief Security Officer.

Note

Appointment of the candidates is to be done on direct recruitment / re-employment / deputation / consolidated payment basis. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in academics, work experience and personal interview.

Candidates short-listed in the initial screening will be called for the interview. The interview schedule will be intimated to all short-listed candidates. Eligibility Conditions

Master’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute

For Direct Recruitment & Deputation Basis

Minimum 8 years of working experience as Officer in Army / Police / Central Para-Military Force / Watch & Ward or Security Service of any Govt. / Autonomous Organization / PSU, out of which minimum 5 years of experience should be in the pay scale of Rs.8000-13500 (pre-revised) or corresponding revised pay scale or any other pay scale of Group A / Gazetted Rank

For Re-Employment

Should be an Retired Army / State Police / Central Para-Military Force Officer, having the aforesaid experience inpre-retirement service.
Candidates should be below the age of 45 years (Direct recruitment) or 57 years (Deputation Basis) or 61 years (Re-employed officers).

Candidates can obtain the application form directly from the Cash Section, Accounts Office, Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan in the reverse payment of the required amount.
Candidates can also obtain the application form by post, by sending a self-addressed envelope (11 cm x 26 cm) affixed with stamp of Rs 15, along with a DD of relevant application fee amount, to the Registrar’s Office, Visva-Bharati, PO Santiniketan (West Bengal) - 731235.
For paying the application fees, candidates can obtain a DD for Rs.500 / Rs.125, drawn in favor of Accounts Officer, Visva-Bharati, payable at State Bank of India, Santiniketan Branch (Branch Code: 2121).
Original copy of Application form duly complete in all respect, along with 12 photocopies of complete application form, two passport-size photographs, DD (with downloaded form only) and one set of attested (By Gazetted Officer) copies of all relevant documents, should be submitted to the:
