Assistant Professor:

Note

• Selection of the candidates is to be done on the basis of their performance in academics, work experience, and personal interview. Candidates short-listed in the initial screening will be called for the interview. The interview schedule will be announced later. Eligibility Conditions

• Required qualification as per the norms prescribed by the University. 

Application Fee

• Rs.800: For the posts with AGP of Rs.9000 & 10,000
• Rs.400: For the posts with AGP of Rs.6000
• 25% of the application fee: SC/ST candidates
• Exempted for PH candidates 

How to Apply

• Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria ,can apply through the prescribed application form obtainable through post, by sending a written request to Registrar's Office, Visva Bharati, Santiniketan (West Bengal) - 7312345. The request should be sent in a self-addressed & stamped (Rs 15) envelope (size 11 x 26 cm), along with the prescribed application fee in the form of a Demand Draft (DD), drawn on State Bank of India, Santiniketan Branch (2121), in favor of Accounts Officer, Visva Bharati.
  
  
• In addition, application form can also be obtained in person from the Registrar's Office of the University on submission of Cash Coupon of requisite amount. One can purchase the Cash Coupon from Cash Section, Accounts Officer or Santiniketan of the University.

• Application Form, duly complete in all respect, along with twelve photo copies of filled-in form, two passport size photographs (duly signed by the candidates), DD (with downloaded form)and attested photocopies of all requisite documents, should be sent to:
