Applications are invited from skilled and reliable Indian candidates for the posts of Research Associate. 

Imp.

Appointment of candidates is to be done for the NAIP funded project “Enhancement of Livelihood Security through Sustainable Farming System and Related Farm Enterprises in North West Himalayas”. Candidates will be posted at Champawat / Dharonj / Mudiani or any other sites of the project. 

Note

• The recruitment is to be done purely temporary on contractual basis, which will be co-terminus with the project. Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Walk-in-Interview. 

• The interview is scheduled to be held on  16^th May, 2012, at Vivekananda Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan (ICAR), Almora (Uttarakhand) - 263601, from 10.00 am onwards.

Eligibility Conditions 

• M Sc / M Sc Agriculture / M Tech / PhD Degree in Horticulture / Plant Protection / Agronomy / Soil Science / Post Harvest Eng. / Plant Breeding & Genetics / Seed Technology / Extension Education / Agricultural Engineering / Agricultural Economics or its equivalent from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Should have experience in Extension, Research and Development in Hill Agriculture.
  
  

Required Age

• Candidates should be below the age of 40 years (for Men) or 45 years (for Women) (Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC candidates as per GOI / ICAR norms).
