Note

  • Selection will be made on the basis of written test and interview, to be held in Kolkata only. Besides, final selection will be made on the basis of medical fitness test.
  • However, selection for the post of Officer-on-Special Duty (Land) will be based on Personal Interview only.
  • Selected candidates will be hired on probation, initially for a period of one year, and confirmed in regular post on satisfactory completion of the probation period.

Eligibility Conditions

For Manager (HR&A)

  • Should have completed graduation in any discipline with MBA (Specialization in HR only) / P G Degree / Diploma (2 years full time course in Personnel Management & IR) or MSW / DSW from any recognized University or reputed Institute approved by AICTE / IIMs / XLRI / IISWBM
  • Candidates having Degree in Law will be preferred.
  • Should have 8 years experience (post qualification) or more in Executive cadre in a large Engineering / Power Generation / Distribution Company in a professional environment with exclusive experience in handling matters relating to Industrial Relations (IR), Contractor Workers, Legal, HR issues, Negotiations with the Unions, Statutory Compliances, Conciliation Proceedings, Disciplinary Proceedings, etc.

For Assistant Manager (HR&A)

  • Should have completed graduation in any discipline with MBA (Specialization in HR only) / PG Degree / Diploma (2 years full time course in Personnel Management & IR) / MSW from any recognized University or reputed Institute approved by AICTE / IIMs / XLRI / IISWBM
  • Candidates having Degree in Law will be preferred.
  • Should have 3 years experience (post qualification) or more as an Executive in a large Engineering / Power Generation / Distribution organization in a professional environment with exclusive experience in handling matters relating to Industrial Relations (IR), Contractor Workers, Legal, HR issues, Negotiations with the Unions, Statutory Compliances, Conciliation Proceedings, Disciplinary Proceedings, etc.

For Assistant Manager (Legal)

  • Should have obtained 5 years integrated degree in Law / Graduate with LLB from any recognized University or reputed Institute approved by AICTE
  • Should have 3 years experience (post- qualification) or more as a legal practitioner or as an Executive in a large reputed Industrial Organization in public / private sector in handling Labour / Industrial / Civil / Criminal / Taxation / Service matters & dealing / drafting international contract matters or in judicial service

For Security Officer

  • Should have completed graduation in any discipline with at least 5 years service in Defence / Para Military Service / Short Service Commission not below the rank of Captain / Dy. Commandant
  • Candidates having experience in Industrial Security in a responsible position at any Organization of repute will be preferred.

For Medical Officer

  • Should have obtained MBBS from any Institute of repute recognized by Medical Council of India and must have completed 1 year internship
  • Candidates having 1 year experience of House-Staff ship in Medicine / Cardiology / Pediatrics, will be preferred.

For Officer-on-Special Duty (Land)

  • Should have completed graduation in any discipline
  • Candidates having Degree in Law will be preferred.
  • Retired Officer worked under regular establishment of L &LR Dept., Govt. of West Bengal having adequate knowledge of land laws including matters relating to acquisition of lands and survey & settlements etc. will be preferred.

Required Age

  • Manager (HR&A) - 40 years as on  31st Dec, 2011
  • Assistant Manager (HR&A) - 33 years as on  31st Dec, 2011
  • Assistant Manager (Legal) - 33 years as on  31st Dec, 2011
  • Security Officer - 40 years as on  31st Dec, 2011
  • Medical Officer - 37 years as on  31st Dec, 2011
  • Officer-on-Special Duty (Land) - Not exceeding 62 years as on  31st Dec, 2011

Note: Relaxation in age for SC & ST candidates will be 5 years while for OBC candidates 3 years as per rules of the Government of West Bengal.
