Age Limit

The age of the candidate should not be less than 23 years and should not be more than 37 years. The age of the applicant should be as on 1st January 2016.

Qualification

Candidates should have good academic record with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade B in 7 point scale where – ever grading system is followed) at the Master degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian university or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university and national eligibility test (NET) / state level eligibility (SLET) / state eligibility test (SET) shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment of assistant professor.

Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of written examination and personal interview depending on the number of applications received.

Age Relaxation

The upper age of the candidates in relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below:-

By 5 years for candidates belonging to ST communities.
By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC communities.
By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.

Application fee

Candidates are required to pay application fee Rs 210/- only plus service charge. 1% of examination fee subject to a minimum of Rs 5/- only for online payment through debit card / credit card plus 12.36% of service charge as government duty or service charge of Rs 5/- only for net banking or service charge of Rs 20/- only for payment through bank counter (Off-line payment).
