Applications are invited from well qualified and dedicated candidates for Senior Research Fellow (SRF) & Research Associate (RA) positions. 

Note

• The appointment for the above said positions will be made on contract basis for one year. Further extension will be given to candidates upon the requirement of ENVIS Centre on Wildlife & Protected Areas. 

• Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in Personal Interview (PI), to be conducted by recruitment panel of WII-ENVIS Centre on Wildlife & Protected Areas. Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of their academic and professional qualification and called for interview. 

• The interview will be tentatively held in the second week of March, 2013. Exact date and schedule of the interview will be intimated to all short-listed candidates by recruitment panel of WII-ENVIS Centre on Wildlife & Protected Areas. Eligibility Conditions 

• Ph.D in Zoology / Botany / Wildlife Sciences / Environmental Sciences / Life Sciences from a recognized University / College.
  
  
• Should possess record of peer-revived publications, skills in the design, development and management of computerized databases, good knowledge of Wildlife Science and experience of working in National Parks/Wildlife Sanctuaries. 

Age Limit

• Candidates should not be more than 40 years of age as on 28^th Feb, 2013.
• Age relaxation upto five years will be given to SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates.
