Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, abbreviated as PDKV or PKV, is a public university of higher education in agricultural studies and leaning and is located in Akola, Maharashtra, India. The campus is spread out in the area of 3425 hectares and has 20 research stations, biotechnology centres, biodiversity park, nagarjuna medicinal and aromatic plant park, maharajbagh zoo. The university also has over 20 agricultural research stations across India.
The university offer undergraduate, postgraduate, Ph.D in agricultural engineering & technology and agricultural sciences. The undergraduate programs include B.Sc in agriculture, B.Sc in horticulture, forestry, Biotechnology, food technology, agriculture and agricultural engineering. Postgraduate programs includes agronomy, agricultural botany, agricultural extension education, plant pathology, soil science and agricultural chemistry, animal husbandry and dairy science.
