Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, abbreviated as GBPUA&T, is a public university of higher education and learning and is located in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand, India. The university was established in the year 1960 by the Government of India. Earlier, the university was known as Uttar Pradesh Agricultural university but in 1972 the university was renamed as GBPUA&T in the fond memory of former freedom fighter Govind Ballabh Pant. The university is affiliated by ICAR and Mr. Aziz Qureshi is the chancellor of the university.
The campus of the university occupies the area of 16,000 acres and is surrounded by the pleasant greenery and natural beauty. The campus have facilities like sports club, gym, hostels, wi-fi connection, canteen, stadium and many more.
