Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, abbreviated as IIT-D, is a public university of higher education, learning and research and is located in New Delhi, India. The university was established in 2008 by the Government of India. Mr. Pankaj Jalote is the director of the university and is cater over 40 academic staff in its premises. The campus of the university has spread out into 25 acres and is surrounded with natural beauty.

The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D programs. The undergraduate programs include B.Tech in computer science, electronics and communication engineering. The postgraduate programs includes M.Tech in computer science, specialization in information security, data engineering, mobile computing, electronic & communication engineering. Ph.D programs includes computer science and electronics and communication. The admission process is done through the common entrance examination JEE MAIN for undergraduate, and for postgraduate programs the admission process in through GATE and for Ph.D program the admission process is through personal interview or group discussions.
