The National Institute of Technology Jaipur, also known as Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur or MNIT is a public institute of engineering and technology located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. It was founded in 1963 by the Government of India and it also classified as Institute of National Importance. MNIT-Jaipur is funded by the Ministry of HR Department, the government of India. The director of MNIT-Jaipur is I.K. Bhat and Dr. K.K. aggarwal is the chairman of the board of Governors.
The campus of MNIT-Jaipur occupies land of 312 acres and surrounded by the lush of greenery. It has dispensary, post office, bank, staff clubs, school, community center, gym, playing fields, staff residences, canteen and guest house. The campus is divided in four parts students hostels, staff colony, central facilities and instructional buildings. There is also an Amul parlor in the campus. The institute have 4 year B.Tech programs, 5 years B.Arch programs, M.Tech, MSc, MBA and Master of Urban Planning. MNIT-Jaipur have over 3000 students for undergraduate and postgraduate programs and around 300 students for Ph.D programs including more than 150 faculty members. The admission procedure for undergraduate program is through All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) and for postgraduate programs the admission mode is through GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) . For MBA programs the admission process is through CAT/MAT, NIMCET is for MCA programs and personal interviews and group discussion process is for Ph.D.

MNIT-Jaipur organise annual festivals like Neuron and Blitzschlag. Neuron is one of the biggest technical festival, over ten thousand students participate in this festival every year. Blitzschlag is an annual cultural festival, it is held every year in the month of January. It is a 3-4 days event and almost 15,000 students across the country participate in this festival. The festival has events like seminars, workshops, lectures, dance, singing, fashion show, war of the DJs, dramatics, arts, photography, lecture and music. Apart from this MNIT-Jaipur also host sports tournament every year and students from all over India take part in this tournament.
