Navsari Agricultural University, is a public university of agricultural studies, research and learning and is located in Navsari, Gujarat, India. The university was formed in the year 2004 by the Government of India. Earlier, it was part of the Gujarat Agricultural University, but in May 2004, it got separated from it and formed its own individual identity as Navsari Agricultural University. Dr. Shrimati Kamla is the chancellor and Dr. A.R. Pathak is the vice-chancellor of the university and is affiliated with UGC. The campus is spread out in 400 hectares and situated on the Dandi March road, which is about 3 km from the Railway Station of Navsari.
The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D in agriculture, horticulture & forestry, veterinary and agricultural business management. The admission process is done through the common entrance examination conducted by the university. It faculty of the university is divided into four section, which includes faculty of veterinary, faculty of agriculture, faculty of agricultural business management and faculty of horticulture & forestry. College of Agriculture, ASPEE College of Horticulture and Forestry, College of Forestry, Polytechnic in Agriculture Maktampur, Polytechnic in Agriculture Vyara, Polytechnic Agriculture Engineering Dediapada, ASPEE Institute of Agribusiness Management, Vanbandhu College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, College of Agriculture, College of Agriculture, Gujarat Agricultural BioTech Institute, Agriculture Cooperation, Banking & Marketing Polytechnic and Polytechnic in Horticulture, NAU.
The university also has facilities like health centre, inter-college volleyball competition, NSS training & activities , tours, student clubs, student organization, student counselling, accommodation for staff members, hostel (separate for boys and girls), free wi-fi connection on campus, food court and gymnastic.
