The University of Kashmir, is an autonomous, public University, located in the scenic hilly city of Srinagar, in the Indian part of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The University campus sprawls over a large 263 acre piece of land. The University, since its inception, has catered to the educational need of the students in the areas of Hazratbal, Naseem Bagh, Amar Singh Bagh and Mirza Bagh.
