The Veer Narmad South Gujarat University is an autonomous, public University based in the well known city of Surat, in the State of Gujarat, India. The University was founded in the year of 1965 as the South Gujarat University, and was renamed to its current name in 2004 in honor of the popular poet and scholar Narmad. The Masters of Computer Application Department of the University stands out on the campus with its huge computer lab and the new building it's housed in. This particular department is well known throughout Gujarat as one of the best facilities to study MCA in the state.
